In this paper, the array pattern synthesis method for prescribed broad nulls was discussed. The original problem is transformed into a second order cone programming problem and solved using interior method by Sedumi, which decreases the calculation amount. Compared with traditional method, the new method can produce deeper nulls in the angle range prescribed, and it is suitable for array with nonuniform distances. Simulation result showed the efficiency of the new method introduced in this paper.
