Study of Guidance for Near Space Hypersonic Aircraft Interception

For traditional air-defense missile and air-to-air missile, it is difficult to intercept near space hypersonic aircraft, which flies fast and high with strong maneuverability. In order to solve the problem of near space hypersonic aircraft interception, reaction jet system and infrared imaging seeker requirements of terminal guidance in high velocity interception were studied via guidance system analysis and Monte Carlo simulation. Such a method was briefly presented: launching improved infrared air-to-air missile from near space aircraft platform to intercept near space hypersonic aircraft. Six degree of freedom numeric simulation results indicate that the interception method presented in this paper is feasible with high accuracy, it will be achieved in long range attack scenario.
