Hardware-in-the-loop simulation for radar guidance system was researched. Advantages and drawbacks of array form and electro-mechanical mixed form were compared and analyzed. The principle scheme of the simulation system was presented. The key technologies of electromechanical mixed target simulation, target modeling and shielding device of RF signal were expatiated and analyzed. The working principle and experimental process for electromechanical mixed radar guidance simulation system were proposed. The results of this paper can be used for construction of radar guidance simulation system and as a reference to hardware-in-the-loop simulation experiment and also has a great application prospect.
