In order to improve operational effectiveness of semi-active laser-guided weapon, the impact of laser indicator deployment on the laser-guided weapon's detecting distance and operation occasion was analyzed. The distance model and angle model of indicator-object/missile-object were established considering backscatter and detecting sensitivity factors, the maximum detecting distance and optimum attack heading were given through simulation and calculation. The result can be applied to semi-active laser-guided weapon tactic deployment and project design.
