The specialty of micro-motion can be used to determine some natures of the targets. The extraction of the micro-motion parameters of targets by using high-resolution radar signal has great importance on the classification, recognition and imaging of targets. Steppedfrequency radar technology is one of the common approaches to generate high range resolution profiles(HRRP). In this paper, the issue of micro-motion parameters extraction was concerned based on stepped-frequency waveform. A method of extracting the micro-motion parameters based on the HRRP was analyzed. Moreover, the influence of the velocity estimation error was analyzed, and some guidance on parameters design was also proposed. Finally, simulation results indicate that the method can effectively extract the micro-motion parameters with low computational cost.
