摘要

在SIFT算法中随着特征点数量的增加匹配时间急剧增加,VF-SIFT算法利用特征角来提高匹配速度。文中在原文的条件下深入推导了VF-SIFT算法的匹配效率提高因子,并将该方法用于SAR图像匹配,初步实验表明该方法在保证正确匹配率的同时大幅降低了匹配时间,并证实了文中效率提高因子的推导和实验结果相符。

Abstract

The main drawback of SIFT is that the computational complexity of the algorithm increases rapidly with the number of feature points. In order to overcome this drawback, VF-SIFT algorithm was proposed. The formula derivation of speed up factor was researched and VF-SIFT was applied to SAR images matching in this paper. The experimental results shows that, the matching process is accelerated obviously and speed up factor fits in with the formula derivation.
