Based on the structure design guiding ideology of the control box of launcher, the structure design and optimal design of a control box of launcher were carried out in the limited and strict size in the PDM system using UG. The mode analysis of the control box was done by using ABAQUS. Then the product was processed and assembled according to the final design, which passed the delivery test and many field tests. As a result, the design scheme was proved to be feasible.
