Simulation and Analysis for Infrared Flare´s Separation Process in Seeker View Port

To calculate separation time of infrared flare in infrared missile seeker's FOV, and analyze the rule of variation, the motion model of infrared missile, infrared flare, target and FOV of seeker cone was established. The process of infrared flare running away from FOV of seeker was simulated by VC++ language. 6 kinds of conditions for missile-target approach were designed. The separation time was calculated, The relations of between separation time and character of flight was concluded, the relative distance between missile and target, dip angle of dropping, and attack mode were given. Simulative result proves that error is small and with high engineering application value.
