To reduce side-lobe level of a millimeter wave microstrip antenna array, a kind of corner feeding square microstrip antenna was put forward. Based on analyzing discontinuity between quarter-wavelength transformers and transmission line which leads impedance mismatch and frequency offset, the relationship of the feeder, the input impedance and resonant frequency was determined, and width of feeder and impedance converter was optimized using HFSS software. At last, impedance matching was realized and resonant frequency was adjusted. Simulation results show that the 6 x10 units resonant corner feeding square microstrip array is a kind of low cost, strong practicability millimeter wave antenna with low side-lobe.
