The Research of Aerodynamic Characteristics of Grid Fins with Different Forward-swept and Back-swept Angles

Resistance is the main drawback of grid fins. Though numerical calculation, the research of aerodynamic characteristics of grid fins with different forward-swept and back-swept angle and normal grid fins. The data shows that the grid fins with forward-swept and backswept angles have better drag reduction characteristics and lift-drag ratio characteristics, what's more, the forward-swept grid fins have much better aerodynamic characteristics than the back-swept one under subsonic condition.
