AerodynamicAnalysis for Damp-increasing One-dimensional Trajectory Correction Shrapnel

To improve firing density of shrapnel, one-dimensional trajectory correction device with three-petal type was proposed. Taking SOCBT with 57mm aperture as research object, the aerodynamic parameters were obtained with different Mach number, damper developed area, starting and exposure time by fluent fluid simulation and the damp-increasing affection was validated by exterior ballistics program. The results show that increase resistance coefficient reached 5 when damper offset 11mm and provided fix distance with 76~446m. The research results offer reference for one-dimensional trajectory correction technology research and engineering application.
