Anti-jamming Method for Centroid Based on Fractal Dimension

To improve the performance of EW countermeasures against centroid jamming, and discriminate between ordinary chaff cloud and ship-chaff combination, for the first time, chaff cloud was analyzed with fractal theory, the corresponding data pre-process method was proposed, and an experiment was carried out to measure the deference between chaff and ship-chaff combination. The experiment results show that fractal dimension is a precise and stable parameter to discriminate between ordinary chaff cloud and ship-chaff combination, indicating that the method proposed is capable of distinguish between the two targets mentioned above, and the work of the essay provides a new way to studying chaff related jamming.
