Since that hypersonic vehicle has time-varying parameter and uncertainty of model, an online control method based on characteristic model was proposed. First, the input space was divided into many local subspaces by clustery analysis, and then the control-orient model was combined by characteristic model which was identified in those local subspaces. Secondly, the variable structure controller was designed. Finally, simulation results proved the capability of online controller and guaranteed the robustness of system, besides it can be implemented easily in engineering.
