As the nonlinear effect and coupling character of the flight dynamics has become a big problem for the blended aero and reaction jet flight control systems, an adaptive nonlinear dynamic inverse control algorithm based on pseudo-control hedge (PCH) was presented. The method adopts a BP network with an adaptive element to account for the inverse error. Because of the effect of actuator saturation, the PCH was introduced to reduce the level and duration of actuator saturation. The simulation result proves that the new flight control system is robust with respect to aerodynamic modeling inaccuracy and to external disturbances.
