Based on using low ballistic trajectory projection to simulate the separation of cannon launched target-sensitivity projec-tile, a kind of new test project focused on radial separation of the projectile base was proposed by using high-speed photography to test the radial separation effect of the projectile base in the projectile process. Through effectively calculation, error analysis, gen-eral consideration of all kinds of facts which affect the test data and appropriate revises of the test result, exact and authentic data can be obtained which promise the accuracy and rationality of the data and lay a trail foundation for radial separation base ballistic model of the layered projectile.
