Optimized Research for Foldable Tail Wing Based on Guided Bomb

An aerodynamic configuration of counter-balanced wing + fixed wing + forward foldable tail wing + back rudder was optimized based on actual technologies of guided bomb. On the base of reducing wingspan and chord length, mid-back part of fixed wing was removed, and stationary stable degree of spreading state was greatly declined, at the same time, great mass of fixed wing was lessened. The result calculated and simulated with FLUENT 6. 3 software shows that the stationary stable degrees of spreading and shrinking state are respectively 4%~8% and 1%, and has great motion and over-loading ability. Compared with GBU III-24-A/B, the lift-drag ratio of them is almost the same, and it achieves GBU gliding ability.
