The Exterior Trajectory Measuring Method Based on Coordinate Operation of Radar and Electro-optic Theodolite

Based on the analysis of characteristics of two exterior trajectory tracking and measuring devices (radar and electro-optic theodolite), a method that adopting coordinate operation of the two for exterior trajectory measurement of weapon system range test was proposed. The algorithm of solving target coordinate was deduced combining with radar's range measurement information when electro-optic theodolite can not achieve ideal track. The method can improve theodolites tracking ability and solving more trajectories coordinates using data fusion method when theodolite can not achieve ideal track.
