摘要

为了解决数字图像插值过程中出现的边缘锯齿和图像模糊现象,提出一种改进的对称边缘最大相关性图像插值算法。通过边缘检测算法得到图像边缘,边缘像素具有最大相关性的方向确定为边缘方向。对于非边缘方向采用传统插值方法,对于边缘方向沿边缘方向插值。实验结果表明,该算法提高了运算效率,并有效消除图像插值过程产生的边缘锯齿和模糊现象。

Abstract

To reduce the edge sawtooth and blur of image during the digital image interpolation, an improved image interpolation method based on symmetric edge relativity was proposed. Image edge was got with edge-detection algorithm; the max-relativity direction of edge pixel was set to the edge-direction. For image pixel with no edge-direction, the interpolation was done with traditional interpolation method. For image pixel with edge-direction, interpolation was implemented along the edge direction. Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the operation efficiency and remove the sawtooth and blur at the edge.
