In order to verify feasibility and reliability of detonator burn-out, the experiment was done. According to different experi-mental results, the reason was theoretically analyzed. The stress and absolute rating of the fuze in different state were solved by strength theory. At last, the burning mechanics and thepattern in different state were analyzed according to the calculation. Ac-cording the experimental and theoretical analysis, it is found that fuze burning in unclosed container can destroy inner detonator re-liably.
