Firstly, various error factors that lead to miss distance were analyzed. Then, the model used for miss distance was established to solve the problem of miss distance measurement by using equivalent principle, where system error was equaled by hit solution error and strong related error was equaled by trajectory meteorological correction binding error. Secondly, a feasible closed-loop fire control model was used to simulate the miss distance and to validate model of miss distance. Experimental results show that the model can not only improve fast reaction ability and combat precision of small-bore ship-borne gun, but also enhance combat effectiveness of the naval gun weapon system.
