In modern air defense operations, how much RCS ground targets can be shielded is a matter of concern of ground-to-air radar interference systems. Aiming at this problem, the modeling method of the target RCS which could be covered by the system was proposed This method took into account the interference suppression coefficient of different combat object radar systems and the minimum interference distance of the tactical requirement of different combat objects The simulation results show that when jamming the same system airborne or missile borne radar, the closer the configuration distance of interference station, the larger the target RCS can be covered. And when the configuration distance of interference station is the same, the target RCS that can be covered when interfering the conventional pulse radar is obviously larger than that of interfering the PD system radar.
