In order to explore the mechanical properties of a certain gas-releasing locking mechanism under mandatory relief condition, this paper used the method of combing experiment and simulation. First, by designing an experimental device, the locking mechanism was separated from the launching system, then the curve graphs of the experimental device's impact force and locking hook's contact force were obtained through experimental test, which used to confirm the reasonable of the finite element result. Second, based on kinetic theory, the finite element model of the experimental installation was established under the experimental conditions. By calculation, the stress, deformation and mutual dynamic response of locking hook, locking ring and transfer ring were revealed. The value of the locking force of the locking mechanism was calculated under mandatory relief condition.
