The Armature Optimization Design and Simulation of the Electromagnetic Emitter of the Six-pole Orbital Electromagnetic Transmitter

In order to improve the current density of six part of polar orbit electromagnetic launcher rail and armature is too large and concentrated phenomenon. In this paper, the finite element analysis software of Ansoft which is based on analysis, verify the propulsive principle and central magnetic field shielding principle, and also the current density is too large and concentrated phenomenon is more serious. The armature structure optimization, the simulation model of the transmitter armature after optimization, results show that the optimized rail and armature current density decreased and the distribution is more uniform and reasonable, and the armature propulsive force is also greatly improved than before. It shows that the improved armature can improve the current density and concentration.
