The 3D after-body nozzle is a key component of scramjet for generating thrust. Based on 2D optimum after-body nozzle optimization method, the flow field numerical simulations were conducted on 3D after-body nozzle with variety of aspect ratio using Fluent code to research the effect of aspect ratio on scramjet nozzle. The results show that the axial thrust coefficient and the thrust-vector angle have been enhanced with the increase of aspect ratio. According to comprehensive consideration, it is suggested that H ≤ 5 be chosen fort the 3D after-body nozzle.
