Inverse Design of Simple Cone Liner

An inverse design method of simple cone liner based on the velocity of jet head and tail and jet length was presented in order to shorten the design cycle of the shaped charge. The half cone angle, liner diameter and cavity liner thickness can be calculated by the method based on the nonlinear equations of theory of jet formation contact with the liner parameters and shaped charge jet parameters. The condition of simple cone liner obtained by inverse calculation formed was simulated through AUTODYN-2D. The results show that the jet parameters acquired through simulation are in agreement with the jet parameters used in inverse design calculation. The inverse design method can be used in the simple cone liner design.
