The Design of Fuzzy Sliding Mode for Position Controller of Air-defense MLRS

Considering the characteristics of varied inertia moment and load moment on the AC position servo system of air-defense multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), a position controller based on fuzzy sliding mode control was designed. The fuzzy inference mechanism was utilized to adjust the switching control and to guarantee that the system was of global robustness against parameter variations and external disturbance. Simulation results show that the proposed approach can guarantee the static and dynamic characteristics, and the system chatter is reduced efficiently.
