The finite-time stability and required overload in terminal guidance phase analyzed. The relation between terminal guidance dynamics and system performance established. Based on this, the occasion of introduction for the direct force discussed. By analyzing the terminal guidance precision, the relations miss distance, control system performance, detective system performance, measure noise and target maneuver shown up. The results show that agile missile has higher requirements on the detective system performance.
