Aimming at penetration effects of attack angel on earth penetrating warhead, penetration process of simple kinetic energy earth penetrating warhead penetrating intact concrete targets and follow-through tandem warhead penetrating concrete targets with simulative precursor holes were simulated by finite element soft LS-DYNA3D. Characteristics of attack angle influence on penetration effects were discussed by residuary velocity and residuary kinetic energy. The numerical simulation results show that attack angle markedly influences on penetration effect of earth penetrating warheads, especially on follow-through tandem earth penetrating warhead. Penetration effect of simple kinetic energy earth penetrating warhead descends about 3% at attack angle of 3 degree, and tandem earth penetrating warhead descends about 7%.
