In order to study the external ballistic characteristics of combustion jet, the combustion gains calculation model of the external ballistic range of the liquid jet is established by using existing theories such as liquid jet and rigid body parabolic motion. Experiments of combustion injection and non-combustion injection of yellow soap powder oil and rubber oil are carried out, and comparing the calculated results of combustion gain from the two kinds of oil injection range of the measured results, and the rationality of the calculation model of the liquid jet range gain is verified. The model can provide theoretical reference from the study of improving the range of the combustion jet weapon.
