In order to solve the problem of high temperature seal of solid rocket motor nozzle, flexible graphite sealing material with excellent properties was studied. The minimum tightening moment was obtained by establishing a flexible graphite gasket tightening moment model. At the same time, the sealing characteristics of flexible graphite gasket were studied experimentally, which verified the correctness of the theoretical calculation results. Finally, the reliability of flexible graphite gasket under high temperature and high pressure was verified by the experiment of solid rocket motor, which provides a reference for the high temperature seal of solid rocket motor.
