In order to improve the ability in air defense and anti-missile battle, a project utilizing proximity space platform to support the battle was proposed. Both the effect on the proximity space platform and the characteristic of it were introduced briefly. The information flow chart of the anti-missile operation with the support of the proximity space platform and space-based platform was presented. Finally, the contrast between SBIRS and proximity space platform detecting TBM was made by simulation. The results show that the proximity space platform has higher detection accuracy than space-based platform, so it has bright prospect.
