摘要

文中提出了一种基于时空域融合的红外弱小目标检测算法。算法首先采用Top-hat进行空域滤波,再采用三帧差分滤波器进行时域滤波。针对滤波后图像序列将只包括目标和少量噪声的特点,文中采用了一种或运算,或运算能进行能量累积,并检测出目标的运动轨迹。然后进行形态学闭运算,以连接可能断裂的目标轨迹。最后运用自适应阈值分割,检测出目标轨迹。仿真结果显示本算法能很好的检测出复杂背景下低速和高速运动低信噪比的弱小目标。

Abstract

A temporal/spatial fusion filtering algorithm was proposed for detecting small infrared target. The algorithm suppresses most of background and enhances targets by Top-hat filter in spatial, and suppresses high background profile and most of random noise by three frames difference filter (TFDF) in temporal. There are only target and little noise in the image after temporal/spatial filtering. Then an or-operation was proposed to accumulate energy of sequence image. Target track can be detected after or operation. Morphological closing operation was applied to joint ruptured target track. At last, the adaptive threshold was adopted for detecting target track. The experimental results show that low SNR target with low speed and high speed can be detected in complex background.
