In order to study the effects of cone angle and thickness of liner on the formation of multiple explosively formed projectile (MEFP), the warhead is designed to produce seven explosively formed projectiles(EFP). ANSYS/LS-DYNA software is used to simulate the formation process of MEFP. The research result shows that the cone angle of the central liner is suitable for 130°~ 140°, and the cone angle of the marginal liner is fit for 145°~155°, the penetration effectiveness of EFP is better on the basis of the thickness of liner selected between 2.5mm and 3.5mm. The result provides the reference for the design of MEFP.
