In this paper, a kind of three-dimensional guidance law for the air-to-surface attacking mode was derived based on the variable structure control (VSC) theory, then the relationship between the measurement error and guidance error was investigated and discussed thoroughly, the 3-D guidance law based on VSC was modified for easy implementation, the performance of modified guidance law was validated through the comparison between traditional guidance law and modified guidance law based on the computer simulation.
