Since recovery of test projectile and penetration data is difficult and inefficient, a data recovery method based on wired transmission by the ejection way from projectile tail was put forward. The design theory on experiment system of data recovery for projectile was introduced, which included the device of ejection, dynamic seal of explosive gas, weir release, storage and test, and the prototype was made in these theories. The static and dynamic experiment results show that the method and penetration data recovery system can transmit data from the test device inside projectile to storage device outside projectile, and realize recovery of penetration data.
