In view of abnormal initial velocity decrease for some assault-fortification rocket, based on reason analysis targeted measures were adopted, and corresponding experimental verification was carried out through accelerated aging test. Verification results show that abnormal initial velocity decrease is caused by unreasonable collocation of launching-powder with its container, the measure we take is feasible and effective and some suggestions are put forward for future ammunition long-time storage assessment.
