To fulfill the heavy aerodynamic loads and low vibration frequency measuring requirements of hypersonic lifting aircrafts, a new apparatus of roll bearing with elastic hinge was developed. The bearing and elastic hinge were connected in parallel, and the bearing was strong enough to suffer heavy aerodynamic loads and the flexural beam was sensitive to the vibration of test model and precise for measuring the attitude variation of the model, so the contradiction of load bearing ability and reduced frequency of integrated flexure was settled. The apparatus was applied to the roll dynamic test of hypersonic lifting aircraft and roll derivatives test of a tactical missile with low vibration frequency at subsonic and transonic speeds separately, and high quality test results were obtained in both.
