Ballistic coefficient is an important parameter for trajectory extrapolation. Now, the value of ballistic coefficient is estimated by experience with bad accuracy, this will influence the extrapolation accuracy largely. In this paper, an extrapolation method based on fitted ballistic coefficient was proposed. This method estimates the fitting ballistic coefficient using the measured trajectory data and the measurement errors of shooting condition are considered in the fitted ballistic coefficient, so the extrapolation accuracy is high even despite of measurement errors. The simulation results show that the probability for extrapolation error with 0 to 0.3% reaches to 99.5%.
