摘要

对于共形球面阵天线来说,由于各天线单元的空间主波束方向以及极化方向均不一样,这导致了较高的交叉极化问题。而目前报道的绝大多数共形球面阵,采用的是线极化天线单元,因为线极化单元的极化方向容易控制。文中研究了采用圆极化天线单元的共形球面阵,讨论了一种降低交叉极化的方法。理论分析和仿真结果表明,该方法能有效降低圆极化共形球面阵的交叉极化,提高极化纯度,为圆极化共形球面阵天线的研究带来新的思路。

Abstract

Due to curvature of a surface, the main beam directions of antenna units on surface of spherical array are different from each other; it leads to high cross polarization of conformal spherical array antenna. Most of currently reported conformal spherical arrays use the linear polarization antenna unit. The circular polarized conformal spherical array was studied, a method was discussed for reducing the cross polarization. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this method can effectively decrease the cross polarization ratio.
