In order to study the influence of the commonly used wedge or disc shape of shock wave pressure measuring device on the measured wave, the simulation software Fluent was used to study the influence. A two-dimensional finite element model for flow field of pressure measuring device was established. The change rule of surface pressure of measuring device and the flow field area pressure near it under different pressure of steady planar flow field was simulated. Wall pressure test results show that sensor installation method of both pressure measuring device should be chosen on the surface of the device. The wedge shape of pressure measuring device has less influence on the measured shock wave than the disc shape device does.
