Optimization of Materials on Explosion-proof Body for Tandem Warhead with Front Annular Cutter

In order to optimize annular cutter of missile tandem warhead, the model of annular cutter was made by ANSYS, and LS-DYNA was used to simulate different materials on explosion-proof, including air, polyurethane, aluminum foam, bakelite, steel + aluminum foam and steel + polyurethane, capabilities of explosion-proofs were compared. According to corresponding experimental results, it is proved that polyurethane is the best material for explosion-proof. The results help for optimum design on explosion-proof body for tandem warhead with front annular cutter.
