As for JTIDS relative navigation, in view of inaccurate motion-model and the motility of user would make errors in localization, the paper proposed an improved UKF was proposed to solve this problem. Firstly, the algorithm ensures a factor based on the varieties of the new information. Then the algorithm corrects sigma point and covariance in real-time by using the factor which would adjust the new information's weight in the final estimated value in order to accommodate the current motion-state. The simulation shows that this algorithm can effectively eliminate the localization error caused by inaccurate motion-model or motility, and it can obtain better alignment accuracy and rapidity.
