A way to improve penetration performance is to let missile has trajectory-transfer capability in passive ballistic curve. A trajectory-transfer direction selection method was put forward, which considers the balance between penetration effectiveness and warhead CEP precision. The method converts three-dimensional space interception analysis into two-dimensional perpendicular to line of sight, combines with partial derivative calculation, selects the direction which trajectory-transfer causes the smallest CEP. The method introduces zero-range orientation concept to avoid search computing. Correction method was given to reduce the need for propellant. The method can simplify guidance process, easy to implement, enhance overall performance of missile.
