In view of the phenomenon that the accompanying penetration has an effect on the ballistic deflection found in the experimental process,the influence of the accompanying body on the projectile penetration when it lands before the projectile body is carried out by combining experimental research and numerical simulation.The results show that:when the accompanying body touches the target before the projectile,the accompanying penetration increases the downward deflection angle of the projectile during the penetration of the tilted target,and the effect of the lower accompanying penetration is larger than that of the upper accompanying penetration; the accompanying penetration increases the damaged area of the target plate,which results in the chipping of the target plate and the generation of more cracks,and at the same time the accompanying penetration reduces the velocity loss of the projectile in the process of penetration,and the effect of the lower accompanying penetration on the velocity loss is larger than the effect of the upper accompanying.With the increase of the distance between the target center of the projectile and the target center of the accompanying body,the effect of the accompanying penetration on the deflection of the projectile penetration and the velocity loss decreases gradually.When the two are separated by 3 times the projectile diameter,the projectile increases the deflection amplitude by more than 250%; when the two are separated by 4 times the projectile diameter,the projectile increases the deflection amplitude by less than 150%; When the two are separated by 5 times the projectile diameter,the projectile increases the deflection amplitude by less than 10%,the effect is little.
