摘要

介绍了一种新型六极轨道电磁发射器,利用环向磁场和正交环向电流相互作用产生轴向加速力。在不需要屏蔽线圈或屏蔽材料的情况下,六极轨道电磁发射器可解决磁屏蔽问题。基于理论计算和有限元验证,对发射器的推进力和磁屏蔽进行了分析。数值仿真结果表明,六极轨道电磁发射器有巨大的轴向加速度力和产生磁屏蔽的效果。

Abstract

This paper describes the novel sextupole rails electromagnetic launcher. The interaction between the toroidal magnetic field and the orthogonal toroidal currents results in the generation of axial acceleration force. The sextupole rails electromagnetic launcher can solve the problems of magnetic shielding with no need of shielding coils or materials. This paper describes the theoretical assessment of the propulsion force and magnetic shielding based on analytical calculations, and the corresponding numerical validation by finite elements. The numerical simulation results indicate that the sextupole rails electromagnetic launcher has great axial acceleration force and productive magnetic shielding effect.
