Modern typical multi-purpose missiles adopt inclined launching mode. This is slow in launching and less in loading capacity. In this paper, the advantages and development status of vertical launching missile are analyzed, and the adoption of vertical launching technology to multi-purpose missile is proposed. This paper summarizes and analyses the key technologies of vertical launching multi-purpose missile, points out the engineering technical approaches of vertical launching technology applied to multi-purpose missile, and looks forward to the research interests of vertical launching multi-purpose missile in the future.
