The adaptive frequency-hopping system has good anti jamming capabilities, so it's increasingly used in short-wave com-munication. In the thesis, firstly, it introduces the AFH, which is basis of conventional FH, and analyses BER under the partial-band noise jamming. Secondly, it simulates the AFH system on the Matlab platform and compares the result with conventional FH's. It's easy to see that the AFH system can remove the frequency interference and adjust FH patterns to improve the capabili-ties of the anti jamming. Especially, when the blocking rate is 0.2, the BER of the AFH system is only the one percent of conven-tional FH's, in other words, its anti-jamming capabilities is efficacious.
