Multi-target tracking and precise guidance put forward higher requirements for fast beam controlling and pointing accuracy of ra-dar beams. Digital beamforming technology can quickly align the beam with the desired direction and has higher pointing accuracy, which can solve the above problems. Based on the characteristics of FPGA, this paper proposes a general-purpose DBF module based on FPGA, which greatly saves the multiplier required for implementation, and extends the method to two-dimensional array. The digital beam forma-tion of the array is completed and verified.
