Simulation and Design of Fin Cant Angel of Spinning Projectile

为得出平衡转速条件下旋转弹丸尾翼斜置角的大小,文中介绍了相关计算理论及仿真设计方法。先假定一个斜置角,在ANSYS-FLUENT中建模、划分空气域及网格,采用多重参考系MRF模型设置相关参数进行计算。根据假定斜置角的仿真结果算出所需斜置角大小,再用相同方法校验弹丸在所需斜置角的条件下能否滚转平衡。结果表明,计算方法合理可行,计算所得斜置角可使弹丸处于滚转平衡状态,达到设计目的。

In order to obtain fin cant angel of spinning projectile at equilibrium spin rate, in this paper the theory was introduced and the method how to simulate it was given. First of all, a fin cant angel was supposed, then we built model, divided air zones and generated mesh, calculated with multiple reference frame in ANSYS-FLUENT. According to calculation result, fin cant angel could be calculated, and then the same method was used for checking whether it was at rolling balance. The results show that the simulation method is feasible; the spinning projectile is at rolling balance with calculated fin cant angel, the design goal is achieved.
