Numerical Simulationand Analysis of a New Double Shaped Charge Liner Formed Penetrator

Based on the traditional double shaped charge liner formed series EFP, a new double shaped charge liner structure was pro-posed. ANSYS/LS-DYNA software was used to simulate the new structure, and influence factors were analyzed. The results show that when the curvature radius R of the inner liner gradually increasing from 112mm to 152mm, the stable speed of multi-fragments does not change basically, the speed is about 1893m/s, as well as the spray angle a tended to increase from 0. 69°to 2.27°, and the speed of EFP gradual-ly increases from 1646 m/s to 1738 m/s, but the aspect ratio L/D decreases from 3.6 to 1.9. The research results can provide reference for study on the double shaped charge liner structure.
